Adani Ports, Adani Power, Adani Enterprises to Adani Green: FIIs raise stake in these Adani group shares during Q4FY24
Indian stock market today: After Hindenburg Research raised concern over the debt positioning in Adani Group shares, Ahmedabad-based Indian conglomerate Gautam Adani had a big relief in January 2024 when the Supreme Court of India delivered its ruling that the Indian business house doesn't need any further investigation. It seems this Supreme Court ruling at the beginning of Q4FY24 worked in favour of the Adani group shares as FIIs raised stakes in six Adani group companies. Those six Adani group companies are Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, AdaniPower, Adani Green Energy, Adani Wilmar, and Adani Total Gas.

'Party apparatchik': Congress slams India's envoy to Ireland for critical remarks
Congress on Tuesday took strong objection to the criticism directed at it by the Indian envoy to Ireland while responding to an Irish daily's editorial, saying that attacking opposition parties openly in a manner like a «party apparatchik» was «disgraceful behaviour» and the ambassador should be sacked. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh hit out at Indian Ambassador Akhilesh Mishra over his remarks in his «rejoinder» to The Irish Times over what the embassy said was a «highly biased and prejudiced editorial, casting aspersion on Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, Indian democracy, law enforcement institutions & 'Hindu-majority' people of India». In the rejoinder, Mishra said, «Further to 'The Irish Times' view on the Indian election: Modi tightens his grip» (April 11th), Indian prime minister Narendra Modi enjoys unprecedented popularity and profile not only in India but globally because of his impeccable personal character and integrity and thought-leadership on innovative, inclusive governance and sustainable development."

Now, PM Modi needs to answer the people of Bengal, what happened to the MGNREGA funds? Poor people worked under the scheme but were not paid,» she said, demanding a white paper into the investigations. «The PM says TMC is a corrupt party. He should look in the mirror first. RBI likely to leave rates unchanged in FY25, help maintain India's 'Goldilocks' environment: Morgan Stanley
inflation in India, improving productivity growth alongside external factors, economists now expect the Reserve Bank of India to hold the rates steady and expect no easing in FY25. A report by Morgan Stanley on Tuesday said that the RBI is likely to keep the policy rate steady at 6.5 per cent due to global factors such as higher commodity prices, delayed start or shallower easing from the Fed and a stronger dollar. In addition, the decision also depends on domestic factors such as continued upside surprise in growth, driven by capex and productivity, implying higher equilibrium real rates.
