I fought the Lok Sabha election against my wish. I did not cry after my defeat, but cried when someone committed suicide after my loss,» she said.

The study, which focused on Greater Mumbai and Thane, found that the area covered by slums dropped from 47.7 square kilometres in 2005 to 43.6 square kilometres in 2022.
