Trump wants to run for third term as US President. Can he do it and what does law say? 10-point explainer
Donald Trump has reiterated that he might pursue a third term as US President, adding he is not joking" about wanting to serve in 2028. In an interview with NBC News, Trump said, «There are methods which you could do it. I am not joking.» Later, talking to the reporters, he said that there were demands from the people for him to run for a third term. «I have had more people ask me to have a third term, which in a way is a fourth term because the other election, the 2020 election was totally rigged. I don’t want to talk about a third term now because no matter how you look at it, we’ve got a long time to go,” Trump said, who would be 82 by the end of his potential second term. But the question arises can Trump run for a third term? In January, he told supporters that it would be „the greatest honour of my life to serve not once, but twice or three times or four times“. However, he then said this was a joke for the „fake news media“.

NASA’s ‘stranded’ astronauts speak out: Butch Wilmore opens up about 'missing daughter’s high school year'
NASA astronauts Barry 'Butch' Wilmore and Sunita 'Suni' Williams embarked on what was supposed to be an eight-day journey to the International Space Station (ISS) in June 2024, they had no idea they were signing up for a nearly year-long stay in orbit. Their unexpected extended mission, which stretched into nine months, turned them into unwilling space pioneers, drawing global attention as their return to Earth was repeatedly postponed. As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, their prolonged absence became more than just a professional challenge—it became a deeply personal one. And for Wilmore, missing his daughter’s high school year was perhaps the hardest moment since he mentioned it out of all.

Myntra set to take internship route for entry-level hiring
Myntra is set to take a different route to entry-level hiring from this year, switching from on-campus final placements to internship. The fashion e-tailer is looking to hire more than 100 employees every year through this route, said its chief human resources officer Govindraj MK. «The internship programme will now be a primary pathway for hiring into first-level roles,» he told ET in an interview. For lateral roles, the company is mostly looking at in-house talent. «Whenever there's a vacancy, we prioritise internal talent mobility, grooming employees for higher roles through career development and learning programmes,» said Govindraj. This year Myntra has launched a four-to-six-month internship programme across tech, fashion-technology, business and finance. The first batch started in January 2025 and already, the company has engaged more than 10 interns, he said. «In all, we are looking at hiring about 150-170 interns throughout the year, and this will be our primary talent pipeline for full-time hiring,» said Govindraj. Students need to go through a screening process, including an entrance test and interviews, before being selected as interns. «This period (four to six months) is mutually beneficial; it allows students to assess whether our culture aligns with their career goals while we evaluate their potential for a full-time role,» he said.

My companies are suffering because I am in the government: Elon Musk
Elon Musk, in an interview with Fox News, claimed that his companies are “suffering” due to his involvement in the government. He emphasised that his role in the government puts him at a disadvantage, not an advantage. “If I wasn’t in the government, I could lobby. I could push for things that are advantageous to my company and probably get it,” he clarified. Musk heads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), an advisory body set up by President Trump to cut the federal workforce and eliminate wasteful spending. Concerns about potential conflicts of interest have grown, given his private businesses alongside his government role and its impact on official decisions.

4 questions never to ask in an interview as a fresher
Though asking thoughtful questions helps leave a positive impression, asking the wrong ones can generate doubts about your preparedness, professionalism, and interest in the role. For instance, while it’s natural to be curious about the company’s financial performance, bluntly asking “I heard the company faced a downfall last year so how much money exactly did it lose” can be intrusive and inappropriate. So, to ensure you make the best impression, here are 4 questions you should avoid asking during your interview.

'I am almost done...': Elon Musk reveals date he'll 'ditch Trump' and quit Washington DC after DOGE purge
Elon Musk has revealed the date he plans to 'ditch US President Donald Trump' and leave Washington DC after his DOGE purge of Federal departments. The Tesla CEO sat down with key members of his DOGE team to discuss the work his team has carried out for the first few months of Trump's administration. Elon Musk plans to step down from his cost-cutting role in the Trump administration at the end of May after reducing the US deficit by $1 trillion, the tech billionaire said on Thursday, according to The Fox News. Musk, 54, expressed confidence in getting close to that goal, which would halve the annual federal deficit, in just 130 days — saying his team was averaging “$4 billion a day, every day, seven days a week.” ALSO READ: Myanmar earthquake: Emergency declared in Bangkok; Thailand's stock exchange suspends trading
