Delhi water supply cut: Residents in parts of Delhi’s Outer North district will face an 18-hour water supply disruption starting from 10 am on Wednesday, due to maintenance work, as announced by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB), according to a PTI report.

Blinkit, the quick-commerce arm of food delivery major Zomato, has rolled out 10-minute returns for footwear and clothing categories. “Customers can initiate a return/ exchange in case of a size or fit issue with the delivered product. Dhindsa said that the Zomato-owned platform has been testing the return feature in Delhi NCR for a few weeks and has now enabled it for Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune, with plans to expand to more cities soon.

Most importantly, the UN experts called on “social media companies to take all relevant steps to prevent their platforms from disseminating hate speech and misinformation regarding the Indigenous Jumma Peoples.”

Consumer Affairs Secretary Nidhi Khare told reporters the government is examining whether these companies are adhering to the Legal Metrology Act, which requires disclosure of key product information. «We are examining mandatory disclosures on packaged products sold via quick commerce companies,» Khare said. The act mandates that packaged goods sold both online and offline must display information including maximum retail price, expiration date, weight, manufacturer details, and consumer grievance addresses.
