Danger for Trump: RFK Jr's name in ballot may affect ex-President in key states
US Presidential Elections 2024. Even though Kennedy is trying hard to get his name removed from the ballot, according to reports, he may still see his name feature in the Presidential Election ballots when the regions of Michigan, Wisconsin and North Carolina head to the US polls 2024. It is indeed tough to understand what adverse effects of this uncommon case may have on Donald Trump, but it may definitely see some votes going away from his side, probably of some who may have certain reservations on voting for him in the US Presidential Elections. Tarun Tahiliani and Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla to Sabyasachi and Rahul Mishra recorded a surge in sales of wedding and occasion wear in 2023-24, ranging between high double-digits and triple digits, bucking the overall trend of lacklustre demand as a sharpening focus on premiumisation added sheen to their labels. «Luxury is always recession-proof if you do it right,» fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee told ET. «The good thing about being a good luxury brand is you almost create a monopoly. So, when everybody fails, you're the last man standing which probably reflects in the financials.» Joint Ventures

Who wants to live forever?
cryptocurrency Ethereum's founder Vitalik Buterin, it's an intriguing idea. In the BBC Radio 4 podcast series Intrigue, the 10-part programme The Immortals holds us in rapt fascination. Technology reporter and psychologist Aleks Krotoski dives into the world of extreme longevity, where pioneers like Buterin are pushing the boundaries of what it means to age. Many Valleywalas like Jeff Bezos and Peter Thiel have reportedly invested in companies working on tackling ageing — and even death. In episode 7, Vitalik, the spotlight is on the Ether king. In 2022, Buterin floated a radical idea — a state with a constitution declaring that ageing is bad, life extension is good, and innovation in this field should face no barriers. This podcast becomes even more mind-blowing as it digs deeper, from the crypto founder who created a 'longevity city' in Montenegro because he believes we have a moral responsibility to stop ageing, to AI that is already being engineered to create a 'post-human being' merged with machines.
