The Swiggy investor has upped its new deal pipeline in India, and this would be the third major deal in the fintech and financing sector after itsinvestments in Mintifi and Vastu Housing Finance. It has also backed IPO-bound jewellery maker Bluestone this year. Jar, which helps consumers save small amounts to invest in digital gold, has held talks with investors to raise around $50 million in this round. The startup was last valued at $300 million when it raised $22.6 million from Tiger Global in 2022.

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: BSE definitely looks interesting. The valuation is not cheap. But the way CDSL is moving up and BSE holds a significant stake in CDSL, that adds to the momentum. Of course, the new changes which have been introduced by SEBI benefits BSE more than it does NSE and that is also adding a kind of fat to the fuel. So, BSE definitely, and overall market infrastructure companies from a long-term investor's point of view definitely look attractive. Somebody can buy it and decide to hold it for a long time, and they will keep getting decent returns from these companies even at current levels.

ITC is expanding its network of FPOs, further aiming to connect one crore farmers in the next 4-5 years and scaling up sourcing of fruits and vegetables through this platform, said its Agri Business Division CEO S Ganesh. ITC, present in around 22 states through FPOs (Farmer Producer Organizations) and working on 20 crops, has plans to expand and deepen it further in states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Bihar. Besides, ITC is working on expanding the reach of its super app MAARS — a 'phygital' initiative with FPOs through which it is providing personalised advisories to farmers from weather forecast to sales of crops at mandi prices, supply of seeds and fertiliser and services as soil testing to helping them get credit from banks. Through MAARS (Metamarket for Advanced Agriculture Rural Services), ITC is also enhancing agricultural practices to small farmers through technology aggregation, AI-enabled solutions, AgTech and an e-marketplace for commodities and inputs.
