Who's the Boss?’ Alyssa Milano shares the inspiration behind 10-year-old Sam. The actress discussed maintaining a tight relationship with Danny Pintauro, Judith Light, and Tony Danza as the show celebrates its 40th anniversary.
Looking back on her formative years on the iconic comedy ‘Who's the Boss?’ Alyssa Milano is reflecting on the four decades since the show's inception. When Milano was cast opposite Tony Danza, Judith Light, Danny Pintauro, and the late Katherine Helmond in the Sept. 20, 1984, premiere of ‘Who's the Boss?’, she was just 11 years old. Milano recently attended a press conference in advance of her Broadway debut on September 16th, where she will star in Chicago. People showed Milano a few images from her early days in the play to see what memories the 51-year-old actress had.
For the first time, I had just returned from the theatre for this season. Milano, who had her stage debut at age seven in the national touring production of Annie, said she is not yet a sitcom kid. She commented that she is very demure, about the picture, alluding to the well-known TikTok user Jools Lebron's catchphrase.

Milano said that she had little outward say in the fashion choices made for her character. Yet a lot of Sam was derived from her childhood self, a sports enthusiast, tomboy, family-oriented, tough, and resilient, as well as everything that happened during my adolescence.
