According to the YouGov poll, which was made public on Wednesday, among registered voters, Harris has 51 percent support compared to Trump's 47 percent. In the three weeks leading up to the election, another 2 percent said they were still unsure. According to YouGov, not much has changed in the last several weeks, and the race is still close.
Harris is ahead of women, Black voters, Hispanic American voters, and college grads among likely voters. The study reveals that Trump is in the lead among white American voters, men, and those without college degrees, as quoted in a report by The Hill.
With independents, the Democratic nominee is also in a stronger position. 42 percent of independent voters say they will vote for the former president, compared to about 46 percent who support the vice president. According to the poll, about 12% of independents say they are unsure or do not intend to cast a ballot.
