Avelo Airlines expands operation with new base at Concord-Padgett Regional Airport
Avelo Airlines has expanded its air travel operations further with the inauguration of its latest base at the Concord-Padgett Regional Airport in North Carolina's Charlotte region. The base was inaugurated on Thursday (March 6).
Highlighting the advantages the new base would offer, a section on Avelo's website says the Concord-Padgett airport offers convenient access to the greater Charlotte area, which is a major financial hub.

It also noted that passengers need to navigate through lesser crowds and shorter lines at the base, contrasting the situation with the footfall-related issues at larger airports like Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Avelo's latest expansion move includes the positioning of two aircraft, and the addition of new destinations from the Concord-Padgett Regional Airport, the official website of the City of Concor highlighted.

Avelo Airlines to begin more nonstop services in April
The new base, as per the city website's announcement, is expected to generate up to 50 new jobs. Avelo's newly inaugurated base operates seven nonstop flights to various destinations from Concord-Padgett. The airline is set to launch additional direct services to Daytona Beach, and Nashville on April 3. The Concord City website said the cheapest flight ticket has been priced at $40 by the airline.
