The incident occurred on January 16 when Saif Ali Khan, 54, was assaulted inside his Bandra apartment on the 12th floor during an attempted robbery. The actor sustained multiple stab wounds and underwent two surgeries at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. He was discharged on Tuesday, prompting widespread commentary on his condition and recovery.
Police apprehended the intruder, identified as Shareeful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, a 30-year-old Bangladeshi national who illegally entered India in 2023.
