In Australia, Disney+, ABC iView, and ABC Kids will stream it after it opens in theatres in 2027. Disney and BBC Studios, the BBC's commercial division, are collaborating on the project.
Living with her parents and younger sister, Bingo, is Bluey, a blue heeler dog. She creates adventures out of ordinary occurrences in her life. Joe Brumm, the show's creator, stated that he has always believed that Bluey should have a theatrical release. He wants this to be a fun experience that the whole family can share.
