Chennai conclave of ET Make in India SME Regional Summit to focus on Tamil Nadu’s export and manufacturing might
Chennai on August 10 (Saturday). It will bring together entrepreneurs, industrialists, policymakers and sectoral experts on a common platform to discuss ways to strengthen the industrial ecosystem in the region.

It will start with a keynote address on “Doing Business in Tamil Nadu: How the Government Supports TN’s Trade and Industry”.
This will be followed by a fireside chat with Gaurav Anshuman, General Manager, Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd, on the topic “Unlocking Global Opportunities: The Role of ECGC in MSME Export Growth”. Anshuman will highlight the steps and measures that small businesses need to take to leverage global opportunities.
The summit will also have a panel discussion on “Tamil Nadu's Growth Agenda: Stronger Manufacturing, Higher Exports”. The discussion will highlight the state’s strength as a manufacturing and exporting growth engine and the ways to improve the situation.
Participants in this panel discussion will include KA Shabir, Vice President-International Division & Manufacturing, Funskool India Ltd; Srivatsan Sridhar, Founder and CEO, Skydo; Chandrasekaran Jayaraman, Founder Director, Watsan Envirotech Private Limited; and Aqueel Panaruna, President, India Shoe Federation.
