Chetan Chandra became a victim of mob violence. The ‘Premism’ actor was attacked by a rowdy mob when he was on a family outing, on Sunday. The actor took to Instagram and shared a clip of the harrowing experience and explained that he had been attacked by the group when he and his mother were returning from a temple at Kaggalipura, Bengaluru. One of them had also damaged his car beyond repair.

“I went out with my mother to a temple on the eve of Mother’s Day. While returning home, a drunk person followed my car and tried to damage it. When questioned, 20 people followed him and started attacking me on the road..” he said in the video.
“It was a terrible experience as the mob attacked me without any mercy. My car was completely damaged, and the police gave me the first air treatment. I do not know who these people are, and most of them were seemingly in a drunken state,” he revealed further.
In the video, he appeared with a bleeding nose.
The actor revealed that he had filed a complaint with the Kaggalipura police station. The incident has been described as a road rage case, as the accused was intoxicated and attempting to race ahead of the actor's vehicle. One suspect has been arrested, and additional arrests will be made as the investigation unfolds.
Chetan rose to prominence for his role in the hit TV series ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ and has also showcased his talent in films such as ‘Premism,’ ‘PUC,’ and ‘Melody Drama’.
