Witnesses described hearing multiple explosions and seeing smoke billowing from the area. Some guests initially thought it was fireworks left over from New Year's Eve celebrations before realizing the severity of the situation.

The Incident
The Tesla Cybertruck arrived at the hotel around 8:40 AM local time after driving up and down Las Vegas Boulevard. Within 15-20 seconds of arriving near the hotel, the vehicle exploded, causing significant damage but largely contained within the truck itself due to its design. The explosion's proximity to the hotel's glass entrance doors raised immediate security concern.
One person inside the truck believed to be the driver died in the explosion and seven bystanders nearby suffered minor injuries. Investigations revealed that the Cybertruck was carrying a significant amount of explosive materials in its bed, including gasoline canisters, camp fuel canisters, and large firework mortars.
