Hisar, Sonipat and Ambala have over 200 polling stations that are critical. Sirsa, Fatehabad and Kaithal are also seen as sensitive.
While Ambala is the stronghold of six-time MLA and senior BJP leader Anil Vij, Hisar is the bastion of Jindals. Sonipat district is considered part of Bhupinder Hooda's bastion. Jind district, from where Olympian Vinesh Phogat is contesting, has over a 100 critical polling stations.
Former Haryana deputy CM and JJP leader Dushyant Chautala is also in the fray from the Uchana seat in Jind. Sirsa with over 190 critical polling stations will see Indian National Lok Dal general secretary Abhay Singh fight out to retain Ellenabad. The sensitive Mewat-Nuh district also counts 79 critical polling stations.
