Indian Army, in conjunction with the Indrani Balan Foundation based in Pune, has extended a lifeline to Master Burhan, a 9-year-old boy hailing from Baramulla, Kashmir. Suffering from a critical heart condition, Master Burhan found himself in dire need of medical intervention, a need that was promptly met by the collective efforts of these two entities.
Master Burhan, a student at the Dagger Parivaar School in Baramulla, faced not only the challenge of his health but also the burden of financial constraints within his family. However, the timely intervention of the Indian Army and the Indrani Balan Foundation ensured that he received the necessary medical attention without delay. With the support of the Dagger Division, Burhan underwent an initial evaluation at Government Medical College, Baramulla, on December 22, 2023.
With a coordination between medical experts from both the Indian Army and the Indrani Balan Foundation, Pune, Master Burhan was swiftly transported to the Army Hospital Research and Referral Hospital in Delhi Cantt. There, a team of doctors and professionals helped Burhan to navigate through the medical and financial hardships.
