Soon after Kamala Harris received the spotlight for being rumored as the Democratic nominee for US Presidential Elections, she was met with a wave of memes linking her to a popular album this summer named 'Brat', by Charli XCX, a renowned British hyperpop artist. Even Charli, the brainchild of the album entered this meme frenzy by posting, «kamala IS brat', after the album's reference to the VP went viral on the Internet.

According to a ABC News report, her official campaign account also saw some changes, that were in line with the viral memes, including a resemblance to the Charli XCX album cover.
