Gujjar-Bakerwal community of Jammu and Kashmir held a Maha Panchayat on Sunday in Srinagar threatening to come on the roads if the government doesn't withdraw the proposed Scheduled Tribe (ST) Amendment Bill and the Forest Conservation Act.
The community representatives have urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give a gift to them on his birthday by not snatching or sharing their rights and reservation.
«Today, 14 crore Hindu Gujjars of the country are standing with the Gujjars of J&K. We request the prime minister to give a birthday gift to our community.
