According to Fox News, in a pretty recent op-ed, Democratic strategist James Carville actually emphasized on the fact that the election results were ultimately hinged on economic issues while stating that ‘We lost for one very simple reason: It was, it is and it always will be the economy, stupid’. Adding on to that, he urged all the Democrats to reclaim the economic narrative that they have lost to Republicans specifically to US President- elect Donald Trump who successfully appealed to the middle-class and low-income voters.
Democratic strategist James Carville actually criticized the Democratic leadership for failing to connect with the economic concerns of the voters while giving a suggestion that they need a bold economic agenda to regain the public support, asserted Fox News. He also stressed on the importance of shifting focus away from US President- elect Donald Trump’s legal troubles and social issues which do not really resonate with the US voters struggling to provide for their families.
