Ludhiana is among the top four most populous cities in the state, alongside Amritsar, Patiala, and Jalandhar. The city has also been awarded the status of a smart city under the central government’s Smart City Mission.

The ET Make in India SME Regional Summit is a series of on-ground events held across the country aimed at bringing together local MSMEs (micro, small, and medium enterprises), policymakers, enablers, and industry stakeholders. These summits seek to identify opportunities, address challenges, and promote knowledge-sharing and networking to propel the next phase of growth for small businesses in the country.
The Ludhiana summit will begin with a keynote address on the topic ‘Assistance and Initiatives to Grow Your MSME in Punjab,’ which will be delivered by Sanjeev Chawla, Additional Development Commissioner, MSME-DFO, Ludhiana. A special address will be delivered by Ishita Thaman, IES, Deputy Director, MSME-DFO, Ludhiana.
