«Lupin,» which debuted on Netflix in 2021, has garnered a dedicated following, thanks to its gripping storyline and outstanding performances. The show follows Assane Diop, portrayed by the charismatic Omar Sy, a skilled thief inspired by the legendary character Arsène Lupin.
Assane embarks on a mission to avenge his father's wrongdoings at the hands of a wealthy family. The cast of «Lupin» features other talented actors, including Ludivine Sagnier, Clotilde Hesme, Hervé Pierre, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab, and Shirine Boutella.
In a recent interview with Variety, George Kay shed light on the possibility of «Lupin» Season 4. While the creator emphasized the need to consider various factors with Damien Couvreur, the Vice President of Series in France, he expressed optimism about the show's potential for longevity.
Kay stated:
«Obviously, we’ve worked super hard on these seasons, and then we got to see how the world reacts. So I would say, not to answer for Damien, but he’s got to factor that in. But when you create the dynamics amongst the characters, you set these shows up so that they can have a long life so that you’re not cornered, or you don’t have a problem continuing them, because it’s harder to generate length out of a show that’s not designed to run and run.
