CBS has revealed the premiere date for 'NCIS: Origins,' marking the return of the beloved franchise with a new prequel series. Fans can now look forward to its debut on October 21.
CBS has confirmed that 'NCIS: Origins' will debut on Monday, October 21, from 10:00–11:00 pm. Fans can mark their calendars and start planning their viewing parties for the premiere.
'NCIS: Origins' will take viewers back to 1991, following a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs, played by Austin Stowell. The series will explore Gibbs' early days as a special agent at the NIS Camp Pendleton office. The prequel was announced at the beginning of the year, generating significant excitement among fans.
The series will not only follow Gibbs but will also feature Mike Franks, played by Kyle Schmid. Fans will see a younger version of Franks, a character known for his impressive mustache. Gibbs will encounter new friends and foes as he begins his career as a special agent.
Joining Austin Stowell and Kyle Schmid are Tyla Abercrumbie, Diany Rodriguez, Daniel Bellomy, Caleb Martin Foote, and Robert Taylor. Mariel Molino will play Special Agent Lala Dominguez, Gibbs' love interest. Mark Harmon, who played Gibbs in the original series, will narrate the prequel.
