October Full Moon which is precisely known as the Hunter’s Moon is scheduled to take place on Thursday which is on October 17 at around 07:26 am EDT, reported Fox Weather. During the current year, it qualifies as a Supermoon because it coincides with Perigee which is the Moon’s closest approach to Earth.
According to Fox Weather, the Moon will be actually below the horizon when it will be reaching the full phase while it will be appearing full from Tuesday evening until Friday morning. According to Gordon Johnston of NASA this Hunter’s Moon is the third of the four consecutive Supermoons taking place in the year 2024.

Hunter’s moon will be the brightest but only in a slight more manner compared to its predecessors, reported Fox Weather. Hunter’s Moon is taking place following the September’s Harvest moon and both of them have a seasonal significance and historical roots which dates back to 1710, noted Fox Weather.
Beaver Moon is going to be the next Full Moon which is also all set to be a Supermoon scheduled to take place on November 15. Fox weather asserted that stargazers and moon enthusiasts can look forward to a spectacular celestial display of October’s Hunter’s Moon following the sunset on Thursday evening.
