Paris Olympics 2024 have already begun with the opening ceremony underway along the river Seine, leading to the iconic Eiffel Tower. The teams participating at the Olympics this year including USA, France, Jamaica, Great Britain, and others will be eyeing the medal events that will start off in a matter of a few hours now.

For starters, the first medal events are set to begin on July 27, with events like shooting, diving and cycling, leading the initial list. The 10m air rifle's medal event stars off at 5am ET on July 27, which will be aired live on CNBC. USA, Germany and Great Britain will be gunning for gold in this event. However, there are other countries that can also pull off a rank inside the medal rankings.

Judo, swimming and and rugby sevens, are some other events, whose final events will also fall on this day.
The next set of medal events for July 28 begin with shooting again, this time with the 10m air pistol men's and women' final. Cycling mountain bike events' will also be included in the medal events on this day. Other events like canoe slalom, judo, fencing will also see their share of medal events happening on this day.
