A recent report says that there's a 35% increase in number of Indian students in America. India sent roughly 269,000 students to American colleges, the second-highest number after China. The most common reasons for coming were graduate degrees in business, science, and technology.
According to the QS World Rankings 2022, 33 of the world's top 100 universities are located in the US. Universities have state-of-the-art technology to make sure that their students are ready for the competitive workforce.
There are three different kinds of institutions in the US: public universities, private universities and community colleges. Public universities are also called state universities and the University of California, the University of Michigan, the University of Virginia and the University of Florida are some popular public universities in America. The majority of Ivy League colleges are private, including Harvard University, Princeton University, Yale University and Brown University. Community colleges provide one to two years of a programme with a certification or an associate degree.
Eight private institutions in the Northeastern United States make up the Ivy League, an athletic conference: Yale University, Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, and University of Pennsylvania. These early eighteenth-century establishments have been named among the world's best universities on a regular basis, garnering recognition for their demanding education programmes, esteemed faculty, and selective admissions procedures.
