Priyanka Chopra’s stardom led to brother Siddharth's daily 'struggles'. Her mother says he was 'collateral damage'
During an interview on the Something Bigger Show YouTube channel, Madhu emotionally described Siddharth as “collateral damage” to Priyanka’s success. She explained, “Siddharth was the collateral damage to all of Priyanka’s success because dad was working, I was with Priyanka, and he just grew up on his own. He was a teenager at that time, and I think, for me, he was collateral damage.” Reflecting on the struggles her son faces, she added, “I see him struggling every day, and I feel that God has blessed us, so I count my blessings one by one. It surprises me what the Lord has done.”
Madhu acknowledged the challenges of balancing her responsibilities as a mother while supporting Priyanka’s career. Despite the struggles, she expressed gratitude for her children, saying, “I have two great kids who love me and care for me.”
A Sibling Bond Beyond Words
Priyanka Chopra has often spoken about her close relationship with Siddharth. In an earlier interview with Hindustan Times, she reminisced about their childhood, saying, “We grew up squabbling and fighting like most siblings.
