Pushpendra Saroj is the second SP candidate who has landed from London straight into the political battlefield.He stood out as the youngest male member of Lok Sabha with degrees in accounting and management from Queen Mary University of London, he contested and won from Kaushambhi on a Samajwadi Party ticket, defeating two-term BJP MP Vinod Sonkar by a margin of 1.03 lakh votes. His father, Inderjit Saroj, is a member of the UP Assembly.
