Investment Week understands the move has been made in order to take advantage of the institutional and European distribution capabilities of Landseer.
The firm said it «looks forward to a long and successful, mutually beneficial partnership with Landseer, as well as a continuing successful relationship with Chris Ford and his team».
Landseer was most recently in the news following the collapse of talks to transfer Freddie Neave, portfolio manager of the Odey European fund and OEI MAC, formerly alongside Crispin Odey, to the house.
Neave and the funds eventually transferred to Bainbridge Partners, in October.
Landseer has been contacted for comment.
