The NSE Nifty index traded 76.91 points up at 23232.25, while BSE Sensex was 234.69 points at 76639.68 as of 10:50AM(IST)on January 23.
In the Nifty index, Wipro Ltd.(up 3.56 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.54 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.35 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.31 per cent) and Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 1.89 per cent) were among the top gainers.
