The first-ever Crypto Ball was hosted by new White House AI and “Crypto Czar” David Sacks in Washington D.C. It was not an official inauguration event. Donald Trump himself was absent from the ceremony. This event aligned with Donald Trump’s pro-crypto stance, as he has shown support for cryptocurrencies by appointing pro-crypto officials.
Snoop Dogg was once known as a vocal critic of President Trump. Now, after his involvement in the event, he has seen a huge fall in his followers on social media. Despite the rapper’s response to the criticism where he said he was “going nowhere”, the backlash has continued, with many fans deciding not to stick by him.
