Stock market update: FMCG stocks down as market rises

Sheetal Cool Products(up 4.06%), Marico(up 1.70%), Patanjali Foods(up 1.66%), Dangee Dums(up 1.25%), Prataap Snacks(up 1.05%), Hatsun Agro Product Ltd(up 0.88%), Dodla Dairy(up 0.88%), Emami(up 0.75%), Zydus Wellness(up 0.39%) and Vadilal Industries(up 0.34%) were among the top gainers. Nakoda Group(down 3.31%), Hindustan Foods(down 2.07%), P & G Hygiene(down 1.57%), Parag Milk(down 1.42%), Tasty Bite Eatables(down 0.93%), Heritage Foods(down 0.90%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.84%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.82%), Adani Wilmar(down 0.74%) and Bikaji Foods International(down 0.70%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 65.75 points up at 19397.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 208.36 points at 65488.81 at around 11:11AM. Reliance Industries(up 3.82%), Tata Steel(up 2.55%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.4%), JSW Steel(up 2.37%), Tata Motors(up 2.16%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.75%), Bajaj Auto(up 1.74%), Eicher Motors(up 1.07%), UltraTech Cement(up 1.0%) and Adani Enterprises(up 0.93%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
