Stock market update: Mining stocks down as market rises

20 Microns(up 2.99%), Aro Granite Industries(up 2.39%), Oriental Trimex(up 2.10%), Coal India(up 1.66%) and Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(up 0.32%) stood among the top gainers.
Ashapura Minechem(down 1.98%), KIOCL(down 1.67%), Lexus Granito(down 1.62%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(down 1.15%), MOIL(down 0.95%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(down 0.89%), Pokarna(down 0.16%) and NMDC Ltd(down 0.07%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 0.3 points up at 19674.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 14.54 points at 66023.69.
Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 4.66%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.6%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.18%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 2.15%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.65%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.59%), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.47%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.45%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 0.75%) and NTPC Ltd.(up 0.71%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
