Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.31% in a weak market
Phoenix Mills(up 1.62 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 1.57 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 1.24 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 0.05 per cent) were among the top gainers. Indiabulls Real Estate(down 1.31 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 1.08 per cent), SOBHA(down 0.78 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 0.2 per cent) and DLF(down 0.12 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.31 per cent at 529.3 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 69.75 points at 19364.8, while the BSE Sensex was down 179.14 points at 65222.78.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 13 were trading in the green, while 37 were in the red. Shares of Indian Railway Fin, SBFC Finance, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power and IOB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
