Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.68% in an upbeat market

DLF Ltd.(up 3.6 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 1.78 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 1.62 per cent), Sunteck Realty Ltd.(up 1.61 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(up 1.5 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.25 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.68 per cent at 1040.35 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 78.85 points at 24222.6, while the BSE Sensex was up 254.53 points at 79360.41.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.
Shares of Ola Electric Mobilit, Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, Electronics Mart Ind and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Vinny Overseas, AGI Infra Ltd., Polyplex Corp., Kitex Garments and Suprajit Engg hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Arman Financial, IRM Energy, Sai Silks(Kalamandir), Focus Lighting and HMA Agro Industries hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
