Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade
Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 42.95 points down at 19751.05 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as Rajesh Exports, Winsome Yarns, Diamines Chem, Nakoda Group Of Ind and V Mart Retail, touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Overall, 25 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 closed in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank, HCL Tech, Tata Consumer and Nestle India were among top gainers during the day, while Axis Bank, Infosys, Adani Ent., SBI and Wipro ended in the red.
The BSE Sensex closed 125.65 points down at 66282.74.
Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Learning & Education, Trading, Tea / Coffee and Fertilisers sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, Power, Metals — Ferrous, Building Materials and IT Enabled Services sectors during the day.
