Albinder Dhindsa of Blinkit celebrated New Year’s Eve by stepping into the shoes of a delivery agent. Setting up camp in a Blinkit store located in Gurugram’s Nirvana Country, he donned the iconic yellow delivery jacket and documented his experience on X.
“Starting the NYE posts this year from one of our stores (in Nirvana Country, Gurugram),” Dhindsa wrote, sharing a photo of himself in the uniform.
Dhindsa’s first challenge was to pack an order quickly. «Let’s see how much time it takes me,» he joked. After successfully packing a grocery order in under three minutes, he admitted, «Took me 2 minutes 57 seconds to pick and pack. Too slow. Sorry for the delay and happy new year to whoever's order this was.»
Later, Dhindsa shared updates as he picked up an unusual order that included a mini air hockey table. «Just picked an order which has a mini air hockey table and a couple of other items! Will be delivering this one as well,» he said.
Dhindsa also introduced Blinkit's large-order fleet on the same night, showcasing a bright yellow electric vehicle designed for larger deliveries like electronics and party supplies. The initiative is currently
