The Oberoi Group has been inducted into the Travel + Leisure, USA Hall of Fame for its consistent recognition as a Top Hotel Brand in the World's Best Awards for ten consecutive years. The Oberoi, Marrakech has secured the distinction of being named the best resort in North Africa and the Middle East for two consecutive years, while Wildflower Hall, Shimla in the Himalayas—an Oberoi Resort has earned the title of best resort in India.
The hospitality major's properties have been winning accolades, while the company has been posting record results.EIH, the flagship company of the Oberoi Group of hotels, achieved a significant milestone in the March quarter with a remarkable profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 92 crore, marking a nearly six-fold increase compared to the previous year. The company's consolidated revenue stood at Rs 664 crore, more than double the figure recorded in the fourth quarter of FY22.
For the full financial year 2023, the company reported consolidated revenue of Rs 2,096 crore, more than double the previous year. EIH clocked a profit after tax of Rs 329 crore in the financial year 2023, up more than five times.
Vikram Oberoi, managing director and CEO of EIH, said FY23 has been a record year, with the company reporting the highest ever full year consolidated revenue, EBITDA, and PAT. «Hotels managed by EIH Limited achieved an industry leading RevPAR index of 127% for the financial year 2023, on the back of an ARR index of 120%.
We would like to acknowledge the significant contribution of our chairman emeritus, Mr. PRS Oberoi, in creating a very strong foundation for the company and building some of the world’s finest hotels on the basis of which these results have been achieved,» he added.
