The Sims 4 Life and Death expansion will launch on October 31, 2024. This release aligns with Halloween, adding a thematic touch for players. The expansion will be available across multiple platforms, including PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Gameplay
Life and Death introduces three new neighborhoods: Crow’s Crossing, Whispering Glen and Mourningvale. Each neighborhood is designed to have unique features and ghostly residents. Players can explore these areas to experience interactions with supernatural elements and characters.
A major new feature in this expansion is the Soul’s Journey. After a Sim dies, they can embark on this journey to gain the right to return to life. Completing aspirations and goals along this journey unlocks the Burning Soul trait, providing new gameplay possibilities for returning Sims.
