Banka calmly strolled along the streets of Sultanganj in Bhagalpur, Bihar, holding his severed left arm in his right hand, as blood continued to flow. As per a TOI report, the incident unfolded on Sunday night and quickly garnered attention after a video went viral on social media.
The man, identified as Suman Kumar, had come by train to attend the funeral of a fellow villager in Sultanganj.
However, tragedy struck as he deboarded the train. Suman lost his balance and fell from the moving train, resulting in his left arm getting trapped under its wheels, causing a gruesome amputation.

Ashok Singh, the station house officer (SHO) of Sultanganj, commented on the disturbing sight, stating, «It was quite horrible to see him walking with a severed limb.» He also noted that Suman appeared to be somewhat mentally unstable.
Prompt action was taken by local villagers who immediately alerted the police to the bizarre incident. Subsequently, Suman was promptly admitted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The authorities have also reached out to Suman's parents to inform them about the distressing mishap.
The local authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, and Suman's condition is being closely monitored by medical professionals. Further updates on his health and the investigation will be provided as more information becomes available.
