Nate Silver has predicted that Donald Trump is easily winning the upcoming US presidential elections in November 2024. His predictions are different from the various national surveys which have predicted a close competition between the two candidates. He has predicted that Trump will win by a large margin in the electoral college votes. In the event that neither of the candidates are able to secure the bare minimum votes of the electoral college, Trump will have an upper hand in the US Congress which will then elect the new president. He made these comments writing on the Silver Bulletin which is his Substack account. He added that though he is a supporter of Biden, all data reveals that Trump is on his way back to the Whitehouse.
He has predicted that Trump will win 66% of the electoral college votes and Biden may win 34% of these votes. His model has also predicted that Biden will have a narrow lead over Trump in the popular vote. Biden has a 51% chance of winning the popular vote whereas Trump may win 49% of the votes. In the event that neither of the candidates secure the minimum number of votes of the electoral college, which is 270, Trump will gain a majority in the votes which will be cast by the US House of Representatives. He has predicted that Trump will easily win the upcoming elections and disagreed with the national polls which have predicted a close contest between the two candidates. He has cited polling numbers to suggest that Trump leads in seven states.
