Whataburger is headed to Las Vegas, set to open on the Strip later this year. The new restaurant will be part of a collaboration with Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse in a two-story building next to the Waldorf Astoria, expected to open to the public this fall. Whataburger, known as the «better burger» chain with a cult following, has been around for 72 years and operates as a 24-hour restaurant.
Whataburger is bringing its first restaurant to the Las Vegas Strip, marking the introduction of the restaurant chain to Nevada. With this addition, Whataburger will now have locations in 15 states. The new restaurant is planning to hire 210 employees to serve customers.
Known for its 24/7 operations, Whataburger has more than 950 locations, serving customers 364 days a year. Whataburger President and CEO, Ed Nelson, expressed that as the city never sleeps and their brand operates 24/7, it was a logical move to bring Whataburger to the Strip. He mentioned that Whataburger has the public’s back with a menu offering a double-meat Whataburger with jalapenos or a savoury Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Waldorf Astoria, situated in CityCenter, is conveniently located next to Aria Place on the west side of Las Boulevard. This new location is the result of a partnership with franchisee Panda Restaurant Group. Whataburger President and CEO, Ed Nelson, expressed enthusiasm for both locals and visitors to experience the fresh new option and personalize their Whataburgers according to their preferences.
