Bengaluru police have taken action against 44 individuals for a recent video where they are seen performing a reckless scooter stunt on a busy road in India's IT capital during daytime.
«Wheeling on city roads? Our officers are always ready to bring your adventure to a halt,» said Bengaluru City Police while sharing a video of the individuals performing the stunt. Along with the video, the police informed that action had been taken against 44 for the wheeling incident.
The video which caught the attention of the police has garnered over 115,000 views online.
Police on alert:
Around the country, police are on alert to catch those performing wheeling and other dangerous stunts with their motorcycles. Recently, Azad Maidan police arrested a Chembur resident for allegedly performing dangerous stunts at various locations in the city, including the selfie point opposite CSMT. Azad Maidan traffic police took suo moto action after the youth, on June 4, posted a video of him doing stunts on a bicycle on his Instagram account.
In India's southern state, Chennai, police have issued a stern warning against youths involved in reckless driving and causing disturbances to members of the public after apprehending four people who performed stunts on East Coast Road (ECR) recently.
