Social Security Fairness Act may finally going to be implemented, but things are still stuck at the Senate, and needs passing, that will help restore social security rights of public sector workers. The social security acts had taken a major backseat during the US Presidential election 2024, but now the last leg of the US administration under Joe Biden may now take the Social Security Fairness Act seriously, and public sector employees may finally heave a sigh of relief.
The deadline for the Social Security Fairness Act is fast approaching, with the fate of 3 million Americans including police officers, firefighters, postal workers and public-school teachers' future hanging in the balance, if reports are to be believed. Meanwhile workers of these aforementioned sectors are even planning on a rally to the Capitol on December 11, according to a USA Today report, in order to seek for the fast-tracking of the Social Security Fairness bill, and introduce and implement the bill at the earliest.
