One set of clothing will cost ¥4,000 to ¥7,000 ($28-$49), and people will be able to rent up to eight outfits for as long as two weeks, in three sizes: small, medium and large. Chosen styles — smart, smart casual and mixed — will be delivered to a traveler’s designated hotel. The primary objective of this initiative is to promote sustainable tourism while providing utmost convenience to visitors. Prior to boarding a Japan Airlines-operated flight, travelers will have the option to choose clothing based on their size and seasonal requirements through a dedicated website. The service will be available for a trial period until August 2024.

Aviat Airlines Parke Go First lessors can access aircraft: Delhi High Court
Delhi High Court on Wednesday directed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and others to allow the aircraft lessors of cash-strapped Go First to access, inspect and carry out maintenance of its leased aircraft at least twice a month, saying the «valuable» and «sophisticated» aircraft need regular maintenance. Justice Tara Vitasta Ganju, in an interim order, asked the DGCA and the airports, where the aircraft are parked, to allow access in three days.

Aviat Action Airlines Air India passenger detained for carrying 19 live ammunition, FIR registered
A passenger travelling via Air India flight from Delhi to Bengaluru was detained at the Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport for carrying 19 live cartridges without proper documentation.  The passenger identified as Ajay Kumar Bana was detained at the time of boarding and a case against him has been registered under section 25 of the Arms Act at the IGI Airport Police Station, news agency ANI reported.  Recently, an Air India passenger onboard the Mumbai-Delhi Air India Flight AIC 866 was also arrested for allegedly defecating and urinating onboard the aeroplane. The passenger was identified as Ram Singh who worked as a cook in Africa.  As per the FIR filed at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, the passenger allegedly defecated, urinated and spat in row 9 DEF of the aircraft.
