Kohli, 35, reached his century with a two off fast bowler Lockie Ferguson, having faced 106 balls, hitting eight fours and a six to break the record of 49 ODI hundreds he had shared with Sachin Tendulkar. India vs New Zealand: ‘Bowling second will…’: Sunil Gavaskar's advice to Indian side ahead of World Cup semifinal clash
ICC World Cup 2023 at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. “If India is defending a total bowling second, I do believe that will help also because there is scoreboard pressure, you might not be able to get 400 but 260 or 270, that will put pressure on New Zealand," Gavaskar said, while speaking at Star Sports show ‘Game Plan’. New Zealand: The Men in Black you hate to hate
«Even if you want to think of revenge, these guys are so nice you cannot get into that zone,» Virat Kohli had famously said before a T20 game in a bilateral series in New Zealand in 2020. «They are probably one side that has set the example for teams to play international cricket.» Whenever captain Kane Williamson hits a regal cover drive boundary, there's hardly a stare-back at the bowler, the staple of most high-octane battles on the pitch; one would be hard pressed to find a single footage of sledging by fast bowler Lockie Ferguson after he has delivered a mean bouncer; Mitchell Santner after taking a breathtaking catch will only have a wide grin, whereas many others would gloat with vulgar glee. It's as if the team is moulded in gentlemanliness, where the likes of Rohit Sharma, Rahul Dravid, Courtney Walsh, Kumar Sangakara, Inzamam ul Haq and Eoin Morgan will find ready places. So while India will look to wipe away the pain of Manchester 2019 where they were eliminated from the semis by the New Zealanders, Rohit Sharma's boys are unlikely to do it with a sense of revenge.

Who is Cole Palmer? 21-year old Chelsea player shines against his former club Manchester City in stunning 4-4 draw
Cole Palmer, the 21-year old midfielder for English Premier League club Chelsea and England, displayed a stunning performance against his former club Manchester City yesterday at the former’s home ground Stamford Bridge. Palmer not only displayed immense maturity throughout the match with his dribbling and pass distribution which cut apart the opponent’s midfield and defense, but ended the night by scoring a penalty under massive pressure during injury time to equalize the score at 4-4. Chelsea’s season has been quite up and down as their manager Mauricio Pochettino is still understanding how to get the best out of a team which has promising young players like Palmer. They came into this fixture after a chaotic 4-1 win against London rivals and then league toppers Tottenham Hotspurs.
