Apple on Friday denied violating a court order governing its App Store and urged a California federal judge to reject a request by «Fortnite» developer Epic Games to hold it in contempt. Apple made the arguments in a filing to U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers in Oakland, who presided over Epic's lawsuit in 2020 accusing Apple of violating antitrust law with its tight controls over how consumers download apps and pay for transactions within them.

Congress on Sunday announced a list of 10 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. The party has fielded former Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union (JNUSU) president Kanhaiya Kumar from North East Delhi seat. Kanhaiya will fight the poll battle against BJP candidate Manoj Tiwari who is the sitting MP from the seat. The Congress announced the candidature of JP Agarwal from Chandni Chowk and Udit Raj from North West Delhi.

Now, Paul has challenged Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) legends Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal for a fight in Octagon, a special ring where UFC fights are held. In a fiery social media post where Paul retorted to Diaz and Masvidal for belittling his mettle as a boxer and also included UFC boss Dana White. Paul had defeated Diaz on August 5, 2023 but it was a boxing match. Masvidal recently has ridiculed Paul's boxing prowess. Omar Abdullah on Saturday said Manmohan Sigh was a true statesman and that Narendra Modi, at some stage, will have to start thinking about the kind of legacy he leaves behind. In an interview with PTI Videos, Abdullah, who is contesting the Lok Sabha polls from north Kashmir Baramulla constituency, said it was obvious that the Centre was using the probe agencies under it against the leaders of the opposition parties. «It is not apparent, it is obvious. When 95 per cent of the cases that are being investigated or charged by the Enforcement Directorate are against (opposition ) political leaders and political parties, that tells you. »At some point, the PM will start looking at his legacy. Right now, I think his aim is to be a PM for longer than Jawahar Lal Nehru. Once that aim is met, then, none of us get younger, we all get older. There comes a time when we have to leave the stage. I have no doubt that somewhere in the back of his mind, the PM will start thinking about what sort of a legacy he wants to leave," Abdullah said.

Anurag Thakur on Saturday called the AAP the «most dishonest party», and claimed that the Congress is fighting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for «abki baar, 40 paar» when the BJP is aiming for over 400 seats. Congress leaders are leaving in droves for the BJP due to the spectacular performance of the BJP-led NDA government for the past ten years, he said in Madhya Pradesh's Pandhurna district, a part of the Chhindwara Lok Sabha seat. The 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in MP will go to polls in four phases between April 19 and May 13 and votes will be counted on June 4. Chhindwara will vote in the first phase. «The truth is that AAP is the most dishonest political party. It is leading the table in telling lies. If there is an utterly dishonest person it is Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal,» said the Union minister when asked about the Aam Aadmi Party's allegation that the BJP was misusing the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Purnea Lok Sabha seat, former MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav asserted that he still considers himself «a soldier of the Congress» and will remain with the party till his last breath. According to a seat-sharing arrangement agreed upon by the opposition INDIA bloc constituents in the state, the RJD nominated JD(U) turncoat Bima Bharti from Purnea, denying the seat to the Congress. Yadav, who recently joined the grand old party, blamed RJD president Lalu Prasad for the apparent cracks in the opposition bloc in Purnea. «I am a soldier of the Congress and its leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. I will remain (ideologically) with the party till my last breath. The ideology of the Congress is in my blood. I had never wanted a situation to emerge in Purnea where the INDIA bloc's constituents could be seen fighting each other, like in West Bengal and Kerala,» Yadav said in an interview with PTI.
