semiconductor startup founder has issued a strong rebuttal to Union Minister Piyush Goyal’s recent criticism of Indian consumer internet startups, highlighting the challenges faced by deep-tech entrepreneurs in India. India, China rich countries, everyone should pitch in during crisis like Myanmar quake: US Secretary of State
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said while America is willing to continue to help those affected by the Myanmar earthquake, other countries should also pitch in to provide humanitarian assistance during such crises worldwide. «Well, we're not the government of the world. No, we will provide humanitarian assistance just like everybody else does and do it the best we can. But we also have other needs we have to balance that against. We're not walking away from humanitarian assistance,» Rubio told the media at NATO Headquarters in Brussels on Friday. Rubio was responding to a question about the earthquake and how the US offered help during such incidents by saving lives on the ground through special equipment and experts. Rubio was asked if that was not happening because of the dismantling of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). «There's a lot of other rich countries in the world. They should all be pitching in. We're going to do our part. We already have people there, we'll have more people there. We'll help as much as we can. It's not the easiest place to work. They have a military junta that doesn't like us and doesn't necessarily allow us to operate in that country the way we want to. That would have impeded our response no matter what,» he said.

Rashmika Mandanna, one of India's most adored actresses, turned 29 today and took to Instagram to share sun-soaked photos from her trip to Salalah, Oman. While fans couldn’t stop gushing over her radiant snaps, there was one person who wasn’t exactly thrilled — her fitness trainer. In the photos, Rashmika is seen enjoying a serene moment at a table loaded with delicious food, dressed in a chic sleeveless black tank top paired with denim jeans and a wide-brimmed hat. Flashing her trademark smile and signature heart-fingers gesture, the actress looks every bit the happy traveler soaking in Salalah’s beauty. But not everyone is pleased with her indulgence. In the caption, Rashmika cheekily wrote, “Good food + full almost exploding happy tummy = angry Junaid Shaikh and Sagar (my trainers). I read this somewhere. Salalah — land of sun, sand and smiles. How cute it sounds!”

Goldman Sachs sees 50% upside in Zomato, calls Blinkit pessimism overdone
Goldman Sachs struck an optimistic tone on Zomato on Friday, arguing that concerns around its quick commerce arm Blinkit are exaggerated and current valuations overly pessimistic, even as the stock fell as much as 2.4% to Rs 205.85 on the day. Goldman Sachs reiterated a «buy» rating on Zomato with a target price of Rs 310, implying an upside of over 50% from current levels. The brokerage believes that at the current market price, investors are effectively assigning negligible value to Zomato’s food delivery business or assuming that Blinkit’s EBITDA margins have structurally halved — both scenarios it considers highly unlikely.
