Meta's independent content watchdog said Thursday there were «serious questions» about how the social media giant deals with anti-immigrant content, particularly in Europe. The Oversight Board, established by Meta in 2020 and often called its «supreme court», launched a probe after seeing a «significant number» of appeals over anti-immigrant content. The board has chosen two symbolic cases-one from Germany and the other from Poland-to assess whether Meta is following human rights law and its own policies on hate speech.

What "The Intern" can teach us about good career practices
The Intern”. And what a find it was. The movie was completely different from what I was expecting. Contrary to what its name suggests, it’s not about a 20-year-something student joining an internship programme. Instead, it is about a 70-year-old joining an internship under a millennial founder and how these two absolutely different individuals help each other experience growth. In fact, the movie had numerous valuable career lessons. Here are some notable ones that you might want to check out:

Rationality of Assam Accord re-established: AASU after SC verdict
Assam Accord of 1985, on Thursday welcomed the Supreme Court judgement regarding the pact's cut-off date and said it re-established the «rationality» of the historic agreement. Hours after the apex court pronounced its judgement, AASU welcomed the verdict and said it is the victory of the struggling people of Assam who have stood selflessly in favour of the Assam Accord for the past four decades. In a majority verdict, the Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the constitutional validity of Section 6A of the Citizenship Act which grants Indian citizenship to immigrants who came to Assam between January 1, 1966 and March 25, 1971. A five-judge Constitution Bench, headed by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, said the Assam Accord was a political solution to the problem of illegal migration.

The incident occurred on May 9, 2017, when Dilip Kumar Chaturvedi and his family traveled from Katni to Durg in a sleeper coach. Around 2:30 AM, Chaturvedi reported to the railway police that his luggage, which included cash and valuables worth approximately Rs 9.3 lakh, had been stolen. Vance says 'no' when asked whether Trump lost 2020 election
JD Vance has repeatedly deflected questions about whether the Republican presidential nominee lost the 2020 election, saying he was focused on the future. During a rally in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, where Vance was asked by a reporter about his lack of straight answers so far, he was more declarative. «What message do you think it sends to independent voters when you do not directly answer the question Did Donald Trump lose in 2020?'» the reporter asked, eliciting boos from the crowd before Vance responded, saying he has answered the question «a million times.» «No. I think there were serious problems in 2020,» Vance said. «So, did Donald Trump lose the election? Not by the words that I would use, OK?»
