Electricity rates in Delhi will rise, BJP says it's due to Rs 27,000 crore debt from AAP govt
Delhi Power Minister Ashish Sood has hinted at a possible rise in electricity prices, blaming it on a Rs 27,000 crore debt left by the previous AAP government with power distribution companies (Discoms) through the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC). Responding to a question by AAP MLA Imran Hussain in the Delhi Assembly, Sood said that Discoms have the authority to increase rates to recover the debt. He claimed that during the previous government's rule, the Delhi High Court had instructed DERC to issue a tariff order, but the administration failed to protect public interests. «The previous government has left a debt of Rs 27 thousand crores of regulatory assets with the discoms through DERC. To recover this, the companies are authorised to increase the electricity rates. During the tenure of the previous government, on the orders of the High Court, DERC was ordered to bring tariff orders,» Sood said. He added, «That government could not protect the interests of the public. In the coming time, electricity prices will rise, and perhaps some people even want this for their political gains. However, the government remains in touch with DERC and is closely monitoring the situation.»

Bosch: Legacy season 3 release date: When and where to watch final season?
Bosch: Legacy" season 3 release date on Amazon Prime Video has been announced. The sequel series to Prime Video’s “Bosch” called “Bosch: Legacy” launches its third and final season on Thursday, March 27. It stars Titus Welliver as Harry Bosch, a former LAPD detective now working in the private sector. The character was first introduced in novels by Michael Connelly. And here’s a fun fact, in Connelly’s books Bosch is the half-brother of Mickey Haller, who is the subject of Netflix’s “The Lincoln Lawyer.” Apart from "Bosch: Legacy" season 3, «Mufasa: The Lion King» started out a little like a cub in theaters but ultimately roared to $717 million in worldwide ticket sales. On March 28, Barry Jenkins’ photorealistic prequel arrives on Disney+. In it, Mufasa ( Aaron Pierre ) tells the story of how he was washed away from the pride lands by a flood but returns years later to fulfill his destiny. Shows about high-speed racing like Formula One and NASCAR have helped boost the popularity of motorsports but female racers have typically been overlooked by the genre. Just this month, Katherine Legge became the first woman to compete in a NASCAR Cup Series race since Danica Patrick in 2018. A new docuseries from Prime Video called “First to Finish” is dedicated to women in motorsports. It follows Heather Hadley and Sally Mott — both female drivers — and Shea Holbrook, a female team owner as they compete in the Mazda MX-5 Cup Championship. “First to Finish” debuts Tuesday on Prime Video.

CSK vs MI Weather and Pitch Report: How will the surface at Chepauk stadium in Chennai play for today's match?
CSK's star player, MS Dhoni, will once again be in the spotlight as he continues his long-standing association with the team since the IPL's inception in 2008. In contrast, Mumbai Indians will miss the services of their star pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, who is still recovering from a back injury. His absence is a significant blow to MI, especially in the death overs, leaving the team to experiment with alternative options and strategies. ALSO READ: Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians predicted playing XIs, head to head record Additionally, MI will be without their regular captain, Hardik Pandya, who is serving a one-match ban due to a slow over-rate in last season's final match. Suryakumar Yadav, the India T20I captain, will lead MI in this opener. For CSK, the selection dilemma lies in choosing an opening partner for Ruturaj Gaikwad, with either Rachin Ravindra or Devon Conway likely to fill the spot. The middle order will include Rahul Tripathi, Shivam Dube, Hooda, Vijay Shankar, followed by Dhoni and Jadeja. CSK’s recent good record against Mumbai, including four wins in the last five encounters, will boost their confidence.

Even at this age...: Sunil Gavaskar's big statement on MS Dhoni's retirement
Sunil Gavaskar brushed off speculations regarding Indian legend MS Dhoni's retirement from the Indian Premier League (IPL), and said every time people raise this question, the former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain proves them wrong. Lauding Dhoni, he said age is just a number for him, and he still has the ability to hit the ball into the stands «Why should we even ask that question? Why put pressure on him? Every time people question MS Dhoni, he proves them wrong. Don't doubt his ability. Even at this age, he's hitting sixes not just past the boundary but into the stands during practice. Age is just a number when it comes to Dhoni,» Gavaskar, who is a Jio Star expert said on Jio Hotstar. The former India captain also spoke about the attacking mindset displayed by batters in the IPL he said they understand how to catch the powerplay when only two fielders are allowed outside the 30-yard circle. He also talked about batters' mindstep of scoring 10-12 runs per over which gives their team a strong platform for 180-200 runs. «Batters are getting more adventurous and aggressive. They understand that the powerplay--where only two fielders are outside the inner circle--must be capitalized on. You have to aim for 10-12 runs per over and reach around 60-75 runs in the first six overs, even if you lose just one wicket. That creates a strong platform to push towards 180-200 runs.» he added.
