The actor briefly talked about how a conversation with superstar Aamir Khan gave him an entirely new perspective on his profession and made him understand the value of striking a balance between professional commitments and personal obligations.
Ranbir revealed that the ‘Three Idiots’ star had once admitted to him that the only stable relationship he had cultivated in his life, was with his fans. In his quest to be the ‘perfectionist’ when it came to his craft, he had neglected his near and dear ones.
“I know Mr Aamir Khan, when I meet him now… I met him two years back… he was in here, I asked him what happened, and he’s like, ‘I have spent 30 years of my life and the only relationship I’ve had is with my audience, I don’t have a relationship with my children, I don’t have a relationship with my mother, with his ex-wife (Kiran Rao), she was his wife then,” stated Ranbir.
